The Petterborg Family

Denise and I are almost done with Winter Quarter at Clark. This week is finals week, then we'll have a two week break before Spring Quarter starts. We are looking forward to my mom, dad, and Dillan coming for Bryson's birthday. Since we will be on break from school it will be fun to be able to play and not worry about school while they are here.

Bryson has taken note that his mommy and daddy do a lot of homework. Of course he wants to do the same so every day I give Bryson a couple pages of homework. I found this site that has several coloring pages with letters that Bryson can trace. It has really helped him with his letter writing. I found a "dotted" font that I can use to print out his name and others words so that he can trace them as well. Now he can write his name on his own. Mommy, Daddy, and Dillan are other names that he asks to write all the time. He loves it so much that we can threaten to take away his homework time if he doesn't clean his room, listen, etc. If only such a threat would be effective for his entire childhood!

Amazingly, there have been several nice days of sunshine lately so we have been able to go to the park a few times. Riding his bike and going down the slide can keep Bryson entertained for hours. Getting out of the house and getting some fresh air has positive rewards. I can't wait until it is warm enough to get out to the lake.
