Hard to believe that its November and the holiday season is just around the corner. Actually, I guess its not that hard to believe, considering the last time we were shopping, there were Christmas trees up and holiday music playing... Already....
In October we took Bryson to the pumpkin patch with his buddy Chase (Jonny and Amanda Porter's kiddo). Bryson has also been spending a lot of time with my Mom, leaving Zeb and I plenty of time for date nights. We were able to go see the Warren Miller show with some friends, and it was amazing. I walked out and wanted to just jump in the car and head to the mountain for some snowboarding.
Bryson had a really fun Halloween. He wanted to be chocolate, so my Mom made him a Hershey candy bar costume. We carved pumpkins together, and Bryson picked out what we carved on each pumpkin. Then we went to the trunk-or-treat at church, and trick-or-treating around the neighborhood afterwards. Bryson was so cute in his chocolate costume.
This month, Bryson started swimming lesons at the local community center. He is learning all sorts of new things, like how to lie on his back and kick his legs. He's also been having fun going to the Home Depot for the kids workshop each month where he made a leaf press this month. Bryson also had a great time at the Children's museum recently, where he got to made an airplane out of clay, play with musical instruments, and build with Bob the Builder.
